Get Free AccessCover: The image presents the use of polystyrene hollow spheres, containing a hole on the surface, as templates to fabricate double-shelled polypyrrole hollow particles with a unique structure similar to that of a thermal bottle. Thanks to the hole on the surface, the monomer and initiator can easily diffuse into the interior of the hollow template to generate uniform polypyrrole coatings on both the inner and outer surfaces. The morphology and porosity of the resulting pyrrole coatings can be manipulated and fine-tuned by adjusting a number of parameters. Further information can be found in the article by M.-Y. Bai and Y. Xia* on page 1863.
