Get Free AccessSirolimus-eluting stent (SES) implantation has been shown to reduce repeat revascularization in various randomized trials. The present study evaluated the outcomes after SES implantation in 46 octogenarian patients. SES implantation in octogenarians appears to be feasible and is associated with very small subsequent need for repeat target vessel revascularization at 1 year.
