Get Free AccessAfter a brief review of vibration based damage identification methods, three different algorithms for damage identification are applied to the case of the benchmark Z24 bridge in this paper. Data-driven as well as model-based methods are discussed, including input-output algorithms for taking into account the effect of environmental and/or operational sources on the variability of damage features. A further class of data-driven methods that use finite element information is finally introduced as a possible future development.
